Welcome to Wabasha-Kellogg!

My name is Chad Pederson, and I am proud to serve as the Secondary Principal at Wabasha-Kellogg Schools. We offer a wide variety of athletics and activities, supported by an enthusiastic student body and a highly dedicated staff—something we value deeply at WK.

My career in education began as a Life Sciences teacher for grades 7–12 at Belgrade-Brooten-El Rosa Public Schools. I later transitioned into administration, serving as an elementary, middle, and high school principal, as well as director of an alternative school. In addition, I have served on the MSHSL Region 7 Committee. I joined Wabasha-Kellogg in 2023 and look forward to continuing this journey as a Falcon.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and hiking. My wife, Shelly, is a Physical Therapist, and we have two children—Jake, an HVAC Technician, and Sarah, who works in Accounting and Human Relations.
