Supporting Student Growth Through Assessment

Assessments help us understand student learning, guide instruction, and ensure that all students receive the support they need to succeed. Our district uses a variety of assessments, including:

• Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCAs): Statewide assessments in reading, math, and science for students in certain grade levels. 
• FASTBridge & STAR Testing: Regular benchmark assessments to monitor academic progress and guide instruction.
• Classroom-Based Assessments: Teacher-designed quizzes, tests, and projects that help measure learning throughout the year.
