First Grade Social Studies

dlmayr (First Grade teacher), teaches all first grade students from both classes in Social Studies. Students will explore many topics that are part of the Social Studies curriculum. Holiday celebrations – family, school and community roles – early and key historical events, people, symbols and map skills. Weekly Readers are also part of our Social Studies curriculum to present relevant current event topics to the students.
