Ms. Seifert’s Special Education

staff

Welcome to Wabasha-Kellogg Schools Special Education

My name is Peggy Seifert and I’ve been teaching in Wabasha since the Fall of 2013. I am licensed in Special Education in the areas of Specific Learning Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder. I believe in the education of students in a way that addresses their differences and needs. This process involves individual plans and a systematically monitored arrangement of teaching procedures, adapted equipment & materials, accessible settings, and other interventions designed to help my students achieve a higher level of personal self-sufficiency in school and the community.

Along with the kiddos I have in my classroom, I have three of my own. They all graduated from Wabasha-Kellogg Schools and are now finding their own way in life. I see them often and enjoy watching them grow throughout their life’s adventures. In my leisure time, I enjoy working on my old farmhouse, visiting MN state parks, creating, and camping by the water in my DIY campervan.

I strive to create peaceful learning spaces in my personal life and during my time at Wabasha-Kellogg Schools. I strive to lead with integrity and appreciation.
