Spotlight Showcase

Spotlight Showcase is Minnesota high school theater’s biggest celebration! Presented by PNC and Hennepin Arts, this high-energy event brings together over 1,000 student performers from across the state for a night of awards, recognition, and unforgettable performances—all on the stage of the historic State Theatre in Minneapolis.

The 2025 Spotlight Showcase was held on Monday, June 9, and Wabasha-Kellogg was proudly represented by seven students who performed alongside peers from across Minnesota:
Honored performers Gabrielle Jewson, Isaac Solberg, Zoey Day, Henry Thyren, and Jeanette Larson appeared in the Honoree Number, performing “I’m a Believer” from Shrek the Musical.
Thea Durand and Naomi Knox were featured dancers in “Ease on Down the Road” from The Wiz.
Seniors Gabrielle Jewson and Zoey Day also performed in the Senior Number, “Keep Marching” from the new Broadway musical Suffs.
These student artists showcased their talents on a professional stage, celebrating their dedication and creativity with theater students from across the state.
