2026-27 Programs

The W-K Preschool/School Readiness Program is community operated by the Wabasha-Kellogg Public Schools under the umbrella of Community Education. A choice of programs gives parents an opportunity to select a program that is appropriate for their child’s age and needs. In order to enroll in the 3 year old program, your student must turn three no later than September 1, 2026. In order to enroll in the 4 year old program, your student must turn four no later than September 1, 2027.

• $195/month, 3 days a week
• $225/month, 4 days a week
• $245/month, 5 days a week

• $285/month, 3 days a week
• $330/month, 4 days a week
• $365/month, 5 days a week

• $305/month attending 3 days per week
• $350/month attending 4 days per week
• $375/month attending 5 days per week

Curriculum is geared to Kindergarten Readiness expectations and meets standards required by the Minnesota Department of Education. Our school readiness program emphasizes the six early childhood development learning domains:

• Social and Emotional Development
• Approaches to Learning
• Language and Literacy Development
• Creativity and the Arts
• Cognitive Development
• Physical and Motor Skills Development – Fine and Large Motor Skills

Families who qualify for free or reduced lunch may also qualify for reduced tuition rates. An Application for Educational Benefits must be completed and returned to the school before benefits can be applied. If circumstances change during the school year, families may contact the Community Education Office to apply. Benefits cannot be applied to past due tuition, and all information is kept strictly confidential.

Wabasha-Kellogg is also eligible for Minnesota Department of Education Pathway II Early Learning Scholarships. Eligibility is based on income guidelines and program requirements, including child age (3 or 4 years old as of September 1 and not yet enrolled in kindergarten). Families must complete an application and provide required documentation for consideration.
