A Message from Neil Hedquist, NHS Advisor @ Wabasha-Kellogg High School
Local Food Shelf

November 15, 2020

Over the past few years the National Honor Society of Wabasha-Kellogg Public Schools have conducted a food drive to help fill up the shelves at the Wabasha Area Food Shelf. Because of Covid 19 and not having all of the students in school this year we were unable to have the food drive. The NHS students also would Trick or Treat for the food shelf on Halloween and again because of the pandemic, it was determined that this was not in the best interest of the students.

The NHS members and their advisor Mr. Hedquist, would like to encourage you to make cash or canned good contributions this year to the food shelf to help fill up their shelves. They are always in need of canned fruit and canned meats, laundry detergent, cereal, flour, sugar, olive oil and personal hygiene products.

You can drop off your grocery products or cash contributions at their new address at 142 2nd  Street West in Wabasha on Thursday mornings. If you would like to make a cash contribution by mail you can send it to them at:

PO Box 174

Wabasha, Minnesota 55981

Thank You for helping fill up the shelves!!

Neil Hedquist
