Thanks for stopping in at this site! This site is all about me!

My name is Becky Hetrick, but I have been going by the name of Mrs. Becky for many years.
I have always taught at Wabasha-Kellogg school. I have taught Early Childhood Special Education since 1980. For two years I also taught in a gifted and talented program here at the school. In 1988 Early Childhood Family Education was added to Early Childhood Special Ed. and I am still doing that today. In the 90's School Readiness was started first as a support program for preschool. In 1999 I also taught School Readiness three and four year olds for thirteen years. In fact, as of this time all children who attended preschool in this district from kindergarten through high school went through my program!

Currently, I am still the Parent Educator and program coordinator for ECFE and School Readiness. We have a variety of programs ready to go for families ages birth through 5 years of age!

Our Early Childhood Special Ed students are integrated into our school readiness program and I provide instruction either in the classroom or in small group formats.

I graduated from the university of Wisonsin Eau Claire with a comprehensive major in Elem Ed k-6, Special Ed DCD Mild to Moderate, Early Childhood Special Education certificate and Parent Education Certificate.

I have been married to my husband, Greg and we live in Nelson, Wisconsin. I have three grown children 30,27, and 23 years of age. Greag is an organic dairy farmer. I like to do fitness, garden.and read in my down time.
My children grew up with me teaching all these programs are were always my best examples!

I am excited to help build children's skills, and work with families to help their children become successful people in life!
