• Each year, all 7th and 10th grade students (as well as any new students in grades 7–12) are eligible to receive $150 toward the purchase of a new computing device for school use.
• The device must be purchased between mid-summer and the start of the school year.
• Families may choose one of the following options:
  • Option 1: Purchase a basic Chromebook directly from W-K. This device includes a three-year accidental damage warranty. The $150 discount will be applied to the final retail price.
  • Option 2: Purchase a Chromebook or laptop from any retailer. A copy of the purchase receipt must be submitted to W-K to receive a $150 reimbursement. (It is strongly recommended that families purchase a warranty for the device.)
• Refunds will be processed together, typically in late September.

Device Options for Other Grades (8, 9, 11, and 12)

• Students in these grades, along with 7th or 10th grade students who do not purchase a new device, may:
  • Rent a Chromebook from W-K for $60 per year (includes accidental damage coverage).
  • Provide their own Chromebook or laptop for school use.

The Protection Plan Agreement must be signed by both the student and a parent/guardian. The agreement can be accessed here or through JMC. Payment for the Protection Plan may also be completed through JMC.
